Five o’clock, Ivo and I start our adventure to The Next Web. After the lack of new technology on the Belgian train*, we arrived at Antwerp Central where we had breakfast. Around 7 o’clock we continued our journey to Amsterdam.
*they couldn’t scan my ticket because well, the technology didn’t work…
When we arrived in Amsterdam we first went to our hotel where we changed our outfits for a more casual look.
Around 9:30 we arrived at the fascinating location of The Next Web, inside an old gas producing factory! This is a very unique location to have such an event.
As representatives of The Cronos Group, we had a first businesses contact with Interoute. We received a lot of information about Interoute and their business technologies.
After that Samuel Hulick gave a presentation about how developers of a website should interact more with the clients rather than just build a site that works. I’ve learned that you need to be more specific when building a website for customers. You really need to place yourself in the position of the customers. And especially ask yourself the question. “What drives people to use your app or site?”
