Being away from home this long really changed my perception of the world around me. It really helped me grow as a person. When you’re in a foreign place for his long, your personal quirks are amplified and you really get to know yourself. This showed me a lot of truth and I know will help me make a lot of important decisions in to the future.
I am really happy I decided to come here on Erasmus. Before I came here I had some doubts and sometimes had trouble planning a clear future. I am not saying that its easy now, but it helped me clear some things up.
Also I have come to meet so many different cultures and people while I am here. I have learned so much and nothing could ever take that away from me. I must admit nothing is like I thought it would be. Because even if you don’t want to, you always have some prejudice about people. Here I have learned that everything that I initially thought and also how some nationalities are portrayed was just wrong.
I always try to keep an open mind about everyone, and I am glad that I am like this. If I wouldn’t have kept an open mind, I would have never met these amazing people. I can honestly say these people are some of the best people I have ever met.
