I’ve been in Zlín on Erasmus for a few weeks now. And these couple of week were a bit of a struggle to settle in. With a bit of chaos at work, and getting all the papers in order I think we can finally say that we have settled in.
Our coordinator from Belgium arrived this week to see our progress and guide us if we needed it. Her coming set a lot of things in motion. For example, we finally got some clarity about the goal of our work. Now we can switch our work pace from half fast to overdrive.
And like I just said we did. We finished our plan of approach, and made all the analyses that we need at the moment. So on Monday we can finally start hands on!
Outside of work this week was a week of lot of personal growth. I discovered a lot about my personality that I didn’t even know yet. Being independent without parents isn’t easy! But being independent gives me a feel of accomplishment. People always say that Erasmus is a valuable experience. I never really understood what they meant by that… But now I can say that I do!
